54 Avenue Montaigne was originally built in 1912 as a car showroom. It subsequently became a mixed-use retail and office building.
The re-design involved close engagement with Dolce and Gabbana who took a pre-lease over the entire property.
The vision was to create an exemplar flagship store with optimal operational efficiency and unique design elements complimentary to a luxury end user. The design included a contemporary re-imaging of the Hausmannian facade using over 85,000 bespoke porcelain picots to cover the front and rear of the building.
