The project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of an existing building and the addition of a c. 3,000 sq. ft extension.
The vison was to use the rear extension to materially improve the natural light and floor plate efficiency of the historic structure.
The re-design also included the creation of c. 2,500 sq. ft of private terraces.
The use of timber as the primary structural component in the new structure was embraced by Paris City Hall and provided a powerful visual contrast with the original Haussmannian structure.
The entire building was pre-leased to Air France for use as its Corporate Headquarters.
