The asset was acquired in partnership with a private investment group as a long-term hold.

The vision was to reposition The Estate as a premium destination befitting of its location in one of London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods.

Realising this vision over the next decade required an ambitious Masterplan which set out clear objectives to secure the mix of uses and type of operators that would drive rental and value growth over the long-term.

Pro-active asset management and targeted capital investment led to a comprehensive overhaul of the tenant mix and enabled the complete re-development of approximately one third of the site at the junction of Brompton Road and Sloane Street.

The new development (K1) included 7 flagship retail stores, 67,000 sq. ft of Grade offices and 33 luxury apartments. Its completion, including flagship pre-lets to Burberry and Apple cemented the Estates’ reputation as a luxury destination.
