An iconic post-modernist building which had reached end of life and required an intelligent re-positioning which built on its underlying strengths.

A world class team was assembled led by architects Snohetta, Gensler and Rockwell Group,

The vision, with the impact of the Covid pandemic in clear view was to transform 550 into a cutting-edge, multi-tenant destination which honoured its post-modernist heritage while setting a new global standard for the modern office environment.

The completed scheme delivered on this ambition with several unique elements providing real differentiation in the market. They included the transformation of an underutilised ground floor space into a half-acre public garden, 30,000 sq. ft of shared amenity space and a re-imagined entrance hall.
